The Lower Woodlands
This is where you will be staying in your well appointed Tentrr site. It sits just above the Red Creek and the Preserve. A dirt road takes you down to the Lower Woodlands. You can park at the campsite if you have an AWD/4WD SUV or Truck. For small cars you should park in the Upper Woodlands which is only a few hundred feet from the campsite.
The Upper Woodlands
This is at the top of the valley overlooking the Lower Woodlands, the Preserve and Red Creek. You can relax on a deck located several feet high in a tree overlooking the valley and enjoy the view of evening sunsets.
Red Creek
Fresh, clear and beautiful. You may climb down from the boardwalk ladder, explore the shallow waters, refresh yourself on a hot summers day, or drop a line in and fish. If you catch anything, please let us know. We'd love to see it! Click here to check out more pictures on our Instagram page.
The Preserve
This is a NYDEC protected wildlife area that sits between the Lower Campground and Red Creek. There is a boardwalk available to allow you to cross the Preserve without disturbing flora and fauna and access Red Creek. There are numerous bird and butterfly friendly plants in this area so bring some binoculars. You can sit on the boardwalk, have a snack, bird watch and enjoy the sound of the rushing creek water.
The Far Side
Red Creek Hideaway owns two acres on the other side of Red Creek. You have to cross Red Creek to get there so be prepared to get wet. You are welcome to explore these woods and enjoy a hike. No camping or fires are allowed on this side of the property. Property lines are clearly marked so please stay on the property and respect our neighbors.
